Customizing your storefront
Use the store builder: hero, page sections, colours, and text styles.
Customize Store in your dashboard is where you choose how your storefront looks. Pick a template there, then select Customize store to open the store builder: your real storefront on one side, and a menu of everything you can change on the other.
Templates
Every template is available on every plan, including Free, so you can match your brand without touching any code. Your store name, logo, and description live in Settings → General.
Finding your way around the builder
The menu opens on your page sections, top to bottom: the hero, your sections, and the footer. Select one to open its settings, grouped into Content, Layout, and Style tabs. The Back button at the top of the menu takes you back to the list. Exit, at the top right next to Save, leaves the builder, and asks first if you have unsaved changes.
On a phone, tap the menu button at the top to open the menu. Close it with the tab on its right edge, or by tapping anywhere outside it.
Use the Home | Product page switch (next to Desktop/Mobile, or just above your store on a phone) to see your product page in the builder. It shows one of your products, and the design applies to every product page. Switching to Product page also opens Product Grid → Product detail page in the menu, so you can see each style as you pick it, and switching back to Home returns the menu to your page sections.
Hero section
The banner at the top of your storefront. Depending on its design it can show a product, an image, or, on Pro and above, a video. On the Vibrant design, drag the Background overlay slider (in the hero's Layout tab) to darken the background, which makes the text on top easier to read.
To change how the hero looks, open the hero's Layout tab and pick a Hero design: Classic, Minimal, Vibrant, Bold, Statement, Editorial, or Plain. Your template starts with its own design, and switching only changes the top of your homepage. Your text, products, and sections stay the same, and you can switch back any time.
Page sections
Below the hero, build your page from sections. Your Product Grid is always there; you can add more and drag them into any order:
- Featured Products (Pro and above): a curated set of products you choose to highlight, separate from your full catalog.
- About / Story, CTA Banner, Testimonials, FAQ, Gallery, Video, and Spacer (Pro and above).
- Custom HTML (Business and above): your own HTML, with scripts removed for safety.
Use the eye icon to hide a section without deleting it. A newly added section shows faded placeholder text in the builder, but it stays off your live store until you add content to it. The menu marks it Empty, not live yet until then.
If your plan expires or you move to a lower plan, sections your new plan doesn't include are hidden from your store and marked in the menu. Nothing in them is deleted, and they come back when you upgrade again.
Section colours and spacing
Each section's Style tab sets its own background, text, and heading colours, plus how much space sits around it. The colours shown are the ones the section uses right now, so you can see what you're changing. A CTA banner, for example, uses your brand colour, or a brand gradient if you've set a secondary colour. Select Use default to go back to the original.
The footer's Style tab has a few more: the colour of your social and contact icons and the circles behind them, an accent colour (the line under each footer heading, social icons on hover, and the Track order and newsletter buttons), and the colours of the slim bar at the very bottom of your store. On the Free plan, the “Powered by Vezstora” credit in that bar always keeps a readable colour. Want a light footer instead of the dark one? Set its background and text colours here. The footer's Layout tab is just for its shape: Standard (three columns) or Minimal (one).
Colors and branding
Your primary color carries through buttons, links, and accents across the storefront, so the whole experience reads as your brand rather than a generic template.
Text size, font, and colour
Click any text on your store in the builder, such as the headline, a button, or a section title, and a Text style card opens in the sidebar. From there you can make that one text bigger or smaller, give it a different font, or change its colour. Sizes are set as a percentage of the design's own size, so the text still shrinks to fit on phones. This is available on every plan.
Styles on hero text (the headline, subheadline, and buttons at the top of your store) are saved per template, so switching templates starts that template from its own design. Styles on your sections and footer stay the same whichever template you use.
Saving
Nothing goes live until you select Save. Your uploaded hero images and videos stay as they are unless you replace or remove them.
