Accepting manual bank transfers
Let customers pay directly into your bank account.
Bank transfer lets you accept payments directly into your own bank account, without a payment processor in between. It is a good option if you do not have Paystack set up yet, or want a backup payment method.
Setting it up
In Settings → Payments, select Bank transfer and enter your bank name, account number, and account name. These details are shown to customers at checkout so they know exactly where to send payment.
Confirming payment
Because bank transfer is manual, there is no automatic confirmation. An order placed this way sits as pending transfer until you check your bank account and mark it as paid from the order page. It is worth checking new orders regularly so customers are not left waiting.
Reducing mistakes
Since customers are transferring manually, double-check your account details are entered correctly before going live, and consider asking customers to include their order reference in the transfer narration so you can match payments to orders quickly.
