Add a product
Pricing, options like size and color, and photos.
Go to Products → Add product in your dashboard. Every product needs a name and a price. Everything else is optional, but helps customers decide to buy.
Name and description
The name is what shows on your storefront and order emails. The short description is a one or two line summary shown in your product grid; details is a longer field for materials, dimensions, or care instructions, shown on the product page itself.
Not sure what to write? Type the name, add a photo, and tap Write with Vezstora AI. It writes the description and details from the name, options, price and photo, and fills in a category and tags (your own ones when they fit; a category you already picked is kept). Check it and change anything that isn't right, or tap Undo. Every plan gets a number of AI writes each month (20 on Free, more on paid plans).
On a saved product, Share (next to Analytics) gives you its link and can write captions for WhatsApp Status, Instagram and TikTok.
Photos and video
Add photos and videos in the same place: click Addor drop files onto the box. Drag them into any order, on a phone too. Customers see them in that order on the product page. The first photo is the main one, used on your product cards.
How many you can add depends on your plan. Videos are on Pro and above, and must be MP4, WebM, or MOV under 60 seconds.
Pricing
Under How is this product priced?, choose one:
- Fixed price: one price, whatever options the customer picks.
- Price depends on an option: for example, a bigger size costs more. Pick the option that sets the price (like Size) and give each of its values a price. Other options, like colour, never change the price. Customers see the price range, like ₦10,000 – ₦12,000, until they pick a size.
- Price on request: for items you price case by case, like custom or made-to-order pieces. Customers see "Price on request" and an Ask for price button that opens a WhatsApp chat with you (or an email, if you haven't added a WhatsApp number), with the product already mentioned. These items can't be added to the cart.
You can also record a cost price for your own margin tracking, which customers never see.
Putting one product on sale
On Pro and above, turn on Sale in the product form and choose a percent or an amount off. Add start and end dates if you want it to run for a set time. Customers see the old price crossed out. If a campaign also covers the product, the bigger discount applies, and discount codes don't stack on top. To discount many products at once, use a campaign instead.
Options (size, color, etc.)
Add options like Size or Color and list the values for each (e.g. Small, Medium, Large). Customers choose them on the product page. To charge different prices for them, choose Price depends on an option under Pricing.
Stock and visibility
Set the stock quantity so Vezstora can stop sales when you run out, and toggle the product active or inactive without deleting it, which is handy for seasonal items or things you're temporarily out of.
