Accepting Flutterwave payments
Card, transfer, and mobile money payments through Flutterwave.
Flutterwave lets customers pay by card, bank transfer, or mobile money at checkout, with the payment confirmed and settled automatically. A good alternative to Paystack if you already have a Flutterwave account, or need mobile money support.
Connecting your account
In Settings → Payments, select Flutterwave and paste in your Public Key and Secret Key. These come from your Flutterwave dashboard, under Settings → API. If you do not have a Flutterwave account yet, create one first at flutterwave.com.
The webhook URL and secret hash
Once connected, Vezstora shows you a webhook URL specific to your store. Paste this into your Flutterwave dashboard's webhook settings (Settings → Webhooks) so Flutterwave can notify Vezstora the moment a payment succeeds. Unlike Paystack, Flutterwave also asks you to set a Secret Hash in that same screen - a random string you choose yourself. Enter that same value into the Secret Hash field in Vezstora too; it is how Vezstora verifies a webhook notification really came from Flutterwave. Without both the webhook URL and matching secret hash, payments may go through on Flutterwave's side without your order automatically updating to Paid.
Going live
Flutterwave gives you separate test and live API keys. Use test keys while you are setting things up, then switch to your live keys before sharing your storefront publicly, so real customer payments actually reach your account.
Removing or replacing keys
You can remove your Flutterwave API keys at any time from the same settings page. Doing so disables Flutterwave checkout on your storefront until you reconnect.
