Vezstora escrow
Take payments with just a bank account. We hold each payment until delivery.
With Vezstora escrow, customers pay Vezstora and we hold the money until their order arrives. You only need a bank account: no Paystack or other payment account of your own.
How it works
- The customer pays at checkout. We hold the money.
- You send the order and mark it as sent.
- The order is marked delivered: by you, by your connected courier, or by the customer tapping I've received it.
- The customer has 3 days to report a problem or ask for a return.
- After 3 days we send the money to your bank, less a small fee.
Each order page shows how much is held and the day you'll be paid. We email you when it's sent.
Turn it on
Go to Settings → Payments. Choose Vezstora escrow to use it for every order, and add your bank account. Or keep your own payment method and tick Use Vezstora escrow for Marketplace shoppers, so only shoppers who find you on Vezstora Marketplace pay this way. Escrow is for stores priced in naira.
Returns, cancellations and problems
While the money is held, refunds for a cancellation or a return come out of it, and you're paid what's left. An open return or cancellation request keeps the money held until you answer it.
If the customer reports a problem, the money stays held while Vezstora looks into it. We'll email you; reply with anything that helps, such as proof of delivery. We then pay you or refund the customer.
